 FAQ + HOW TO ORDER

 

If the customization options (personalization, ink color, etc.) are not loading well for you, please try a different browser. We find Safari or Firefox work best. 

 

Don't see what you need in our online shop?
We try our best to offer a variety of semi-custom ("stock") designs, unique to The Essential Market, to fit any need you may have! However, we also love creating custom designs if you have something specific in mind! Click here to get started on your custom artwork for party essentials. Please keep in mind custom designs will take us a few days longer due to the design time. We are exited to bring your custom design to life! 

 

Custom Art Commissions
Simple custom designs are included in our custom design products. If you would like to commission more intricate custom art, such as a hand-sketched pet portrait or house illustration, please see more additional information here.

 

Will I get a proof?
Yes! You can request a proof for any item in the shop for just +$5 before adding to your cart.

Custom designs include a proof, as it is required.

Notepads typically do not include proofs, so please let us know in the order notes if you would like your order notepad proofed prior to printing.

If you request a proof, we will not begin printing without your approval. If you have not received a proof within 4 business days, please reach out! 

 

Can I order a sample? 
If time allows, we suggest ordering a physical sample if you are unsure of color(s) or print quality of your artwork. Click here to order a blank or custom printed sample. Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive custom printed samples.

We are able to offer a corresponding PMS color to almost every item in the shop, just reach out!

Please be sure to read about color and ink variations in our shop policies, as colors can vary slightly between print runs.

 

What if I need my order sooner than the estimated ship date online? 
Please be sure to always include your "need-by-date" so we can include that with your order details. If your event is before the estimated ship window, we'll flag your order as urgent. Although we are unable to make any guarantees, we'll do everything we can to meet your requested date.

Some items will have a rush option available. Please know we cannot guarantee any delivery dates on rush orders, but it will certainly expedite production considerably! 

Rushes added to orders placed after the Holiday/Christmas deadlines do not guarantee delivery before Christmas, but as always, we will do our best! 

 

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
Our price structure has a bulk-discount already built in. The cost per item will decrease as the quantity increases. All pricing is per design. Please reach out to us for pricing of quantities over 1,000.

Additional products?
We like to say we can print anything! There are many items we do not offer online (for example, corporate gifts). Please reach out by sending us an email to Hello@theessentialmkt.com.

 

Single-sided, double-sided, wrap - explain! 
There is no additional charge to print double-sided, or have your design wrap around the cup.

If you do not specify, we will print as shown in the sample online. By default, we typically print as follows:
Styrofoam cups: double-sided, or wrapped 
Shatterproof cups: single-sided
Stadium cups: double-sided, or wrapped
Koozies: double-sided
Napkins: dictated by the design

If you do not specify, our design team will design in accordance with how the artwork will best fit and print.

What is the difference between one-ink color, two-ink colors, and full color?
Most of our printing is screen printing, meaning each color is printed one at a time. This is why it is an additional cost to print a second ink color. We also take this into consideration when designing, as we do not want ink colors too close, to allow for shift among color runs, or overlapping as this will result in an undesirable color. 

We have the ability to print "full color" or digital printing, on some items including shatterproof cups, napkins, and stadium cups. Digital printing allows us to print multiple colors all at once (think, a watercolor design or more than 2 ink colors) and has a longer lead time.

 

Do you offer more ink colors than shown online? 
Absolutely! Letterpress items can be printed in any Pantone ink color for + $75. Party items (cups, napkins, koozies, etc.) can be printed in any Pantone ink color for + $25. Just include the exact PMS # in your order notes and add this item here for each custom PMS color.
