Custom Artwork
All custom designs will require a proof prior to beginning production. One proof and one (1) minor proof revision is included. Customers may choose to review a proof for stock designs for + $5.

If customer-provided artwork is not vectorized/print-ready, The Essential Market can vectorize for an additional fee. Vectorizing certain types of files may cause slight changes to the artwork, and therefore approval of a proof will be required prior to beginning production. We will make recommendations to make artwork best suited for printing, but cannot be responsible for the result if the artwork was not originally generated by us.

 

Proofing 
Proofing times are not calculated in lead times. If you do not request a proof, your order will immediately begin production. We will design your product exactly as shown in the sample product online. We reserve the right to make minor edits to improve the quality and design.

It is the Client's responsibility to approve proof(s) through the Proofing Portal in a timely manner, as production times begin at proof approval. The Essential Market cannot be responsible for delays relating to proofing. If you have not received a proof within four (4) business days, please reach out and we will resend your proof. We kindly ask that all changes be requested through the proofing portal, or by writing to proofs@theessentialmkt.com. We are unable to accept revisions via phone, text message or direct message.

It is the Client's responsibility to review for any mistakes or errors including but not limited to: spelling, dates, punctuation, color(s), products, quantities. Once a proof is approved, it enters production exactly as approved and any mistakes are the responsibility of the Client. If a proof is approved with errors, The Essential Market will work with the Client to reprint items as soon as possible.

 

Color & Product Variation
Not all products from The Essential Market will be identical. We purchase from various manufacturers and there may be small discrepancies among different colors.

Different products absorb ink differently so ink colors may vary slightly among product types. We print using the Pantone Color System, and can guarantee color matching +/- two shades.

If you have any questions relating to product colors, we can provide a corresponding PMS color to almost all items on the website. For some products, we may be able to print an actual physical sample for an additional fee, if time allows.

Please refer to a PMS Color Deck if you are needing an exact color match, as colors may appear differently on your screen. We will always represent colors using their appropriate HEX/HTML code online, however The Essential Market cannot be responsible for a color arriving differently than it appears on your screen.

 

Estimated Ship Dates + Turnaround Times
Please note, all lead times are listed in business days, which do not include Saturday and Sunday or any Holidays. Estimated ship dates on the website include standard production time if you do not order a proof. Please be sure to allow for more time for the proofing process. 

Estimated ship dates are subject to change at any time. We encourage you to order early to account for any delays relating to backordered products or out of stock colors. 

 

Rush Orders
We always do our best to accommodate any requested delivery dates and the option to add a Rush Fee whenever possible. Please see an estimated ship date, available rush options and production times before adding an item to your cart. We cannot guarantee any delivery dates within the standard production times without a rush fee.

 

Shipping
Production/Lead times end when your items ship. Your order will ship whichever method is chosen at checkout, so please be sure to upgrade shipping as necessary. All orders ship from our print shops in Texas. Please allow 1-3 days for Ground shipping in Texas, and 3-5 days for shipping out of state.

We offer free Ground shipping on all orders over $200. Some exclusions on specialty products may apply.

If you'd like to request delivery + signature confirmation, please include that in your order notes. This is recommended if your packages are left somewhere unattended, as we are unable to control the delivery once it is marked as delivered.

The Essential Market cannot be held responsible for shipping carrier delays once the package has left our facility.

 

Pickup 
To get your orders to you as quickly as possible, we ship directly from our print shops and therefore we do not have a pick-up option at this time.

Sometimes we'll do some fun holiday porch pickups in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Keep an eye out for these special promotions! 

 

Lost Packages
You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships. Please contact The Essential Market within 72 hours upon the realization that your package has been lost. We will make every effort to assist in locating a lost package with the carrier, file a claim on your behalf and re-order items as necessary.

 

Cancellation / Return Policy
Due to the custom nature of our business, please note that personalized items are not returnable and non-refundable, as every item is custom printed for you!

Cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted, but we will always do our best to accommodate any requests. Please contact hello@theessentialmkt.com with your order # as soon as possible. If we are able to cancel the order, the following fees may be incurred:

  • Orders that have not been proofed can be cancelled in most cases without an additional fee.
  • If you order has been proofed, but not yet approved: $20 cancellation fee + $5 cost per additional proofs requested 
  • If you have approved your proof: $50 cancellation minimum fee within 24 hours of approving your proof; exclusions may apply 
  • If you order has entered production, we are unable to cancel 

Our hope is that your custom product will meet or exceed your expectations once delivered! If you are not satisfied, please reach out to us within 72 hours of receiving your order at hello@theessentialmkt.com and include your order number in the subject of the email. If a mistake has been made, we will quickly correct and reprint items as soon as possible.
