By ordering from The Essential Market, you are agreeing that you have read and understood the Shop Policies detailed below.Â
Custom Artwork
All custom designs will require a proof prior to beginning production.
If customer-provided artwork is not vectorized/print-ready, The Essential Market can vectorize for an additional fee. Vectorizing certain types of files may cause slight changes to the artwork, and therefore approval of a proof will be required prior to beginning production. We will make recommendations to make artwork best suited for printing, but cannot be responsible for the result if the artwork was not originally generated by us.Â
The Essential Market will not edit an Artist's original work or original photography provided to us for printing.
Proofing
One (1) revision to the initial proof is included complementary. Subsequent revisions requested will incur an additional fee.
Orders with proofs will be held until approval is received via the Proof Portal.
Approval
It is the Client's responsibility to review for any mistakes or errors including but not limited to: spelling, dates, punctuation, color(s), products, quantities. Once a proof is approved, it enters production exactly as approved and any mistakes are the responsibility of the Client. If a proof is approved with errors, The Essential Market will work with the Client to reprint items as soon as possible.
Color Variation
Not all products from The Essential Market will be identical. We source from various manufacturers and there may be small discrepancies among different colors.
Different products absorb ink differently so ink colors may vary slightly among product types. We print using the Pantone Color System, and can guarantee color matching +/- two shades.Â
If you have any questions relating to product colors, we can provide a corresponding PMS color to almost all items on the website. For some products, we may be able to print an actual physical sample for an additional fee, if time allows.
Please refer to a PMS Color Deck if you are needing an exact color match, as colors may appear differently on your screen. We will always represent colors using their appropriate HEX/HTML code online, however The Essential Market cannot be responsible for a color arriving differently than it appears on your screen.
The PDF proof is not to be used for: exact color match, halftone replication or actual printing press characteristic approval. Due to differences in equipment, media, inks, and other conditions, some variation will occur between this PDF proof and the actual printed product. Digital PDF proofs viewed on a computer screen are viewed in RGB when printed the imprint is in CMYK. Variations can include: tonal changes, dot gain, slurring and blurring due to tapper or printing speed, loss of small or delicate detail, exact placement. Such variations from the proof to the finished product will be considered acceptable performance and to be expected.
Estimated Dates
Every product will have an estimated ship or delivery date. All lead time are listed in business days which do not include Saturday, Sunday or any Holidays.Â
The estimated ship date assumes same-day approval of proofs. Proof revisions will extend your delivery estimate accordingly.
If you proceed with placing an order that is needed before the estimated ship window, please be sure to tell us by adding a note to the cart page or anywhere with your order. We will always do everything possible to have your order ship out early!Â
We do our best to provide an accurate, estimated ship date. Due to the custom nature of all items, unforeseen delays can occur. We will reach out to you immediately upon the realization of any delays.
Rush Orders
Some items will show the option to add a Rush prior to adding to your cart. Please know we cannot guarantee delivery on any rush orders, but it will expedite production considerably.

Postage
Assembly and postage can be added to Custom Paper orders upon request.
Postage rates note: oversized and square pieces require additional postage, as do pieces weighing over one ounce. Invitations mailed internationally also require additional postage. When mailing internationally, be sure to omit stamp(s) on the reply envelope, as the international recipient will need to apply local postage.
We suggest visiting a US Post Office to weigh a fully assembled peice for exact postage requirements prior to mailing.
Delivery
To deliver orders as quickly as possible, we ship directly from our print shop and therefore we do not have a pick-up option at this time.
Lost Packages
You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships. Please contact The Essential Market within 48 hours upon the realization that your package has been lost. We will make every effort to assist in locating a lost package with the carrier, file a claim on your behalf and re-order items if desired.
Cancellation / Returns
Due to the custom nature of our products, personalized items are not returnable and non-refundable, as every item is custom printed for you!
Cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted, but we will always do our best to accommodate any requests. Please contact hello@theessentialmkt.com with your order # as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply.

Errors and Reprints
If your order includes any details that our team is unclear about, we may ask you to approve a proof.
It is the Client's responsibility to review their proof + all details for any mistakes or errors; Including but not limited to: designs, spelling, dates, punctuation, color(s), product types, sizes, quantities.
Once a proof is approved, it enters production exactly as approved and any mistakes are the responsibility of the Client. Thank you for understanding!
We understand mistakes happen! If you accidentally approve your proof with errors, please reach out immediately.
Concerns
Our hope is that your custom product will exceed your expectations once delivered! If you are not satisfied, please reach out to us within 2 business days of receiving your order at hello@theessentialmkt.com and include your order number in the subject of the email. If a mistake has been made, we will quickly correct and reprint items as soon as possible.
